The Environmental Health Foundation (EHF), a Jamaican NGO dedicated to enhancing the quality of people’s lives through social outreach projects and programmes, will be hosting an NGO Forum on Thursday, September 26, 2013 in the Savannah Suite of Eden Gardens, 39 Lady Musgrave Road, Kingston 10 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The Forum aims to facilitate information sharing and dialogue between NGOs, Policy Makers and Tax Experts in the bid to ensure that NGOs/nonprofit operators are able to acquire a clear and comprehensive understanding of the new tax regulations, which will allow for a smooth relationship between organizations and tax administrators in moving forward. Additionally, the forum will provide an avenue for the building and strengthening of partnerships between NGOs as well as with funding.
