EHF Donates To Crayons Count
The Environmental Health Foundation (EHF) has donated 500 Wellness Alphabet Books, sponsored by the CHASE Fund, to Crayon Count – an initiative created by Do Good Jamaica, which is designed to provide 2,700 institutions with basic resources to boost learning.
Crayons Count is aimed at equipping the islands' early childhood institutions with basic kits necessary for teaching and learning. EHF developed this Wellness Alphabet Colouring Book to educate and inculcate in Jamaican children the idea that wellness is important for children and not only adults. This book teaches children how to read, trace letters and colour images – all with a wellness theme.
EHF continues to support and educate children about building and nurturing their physical health. The Foundation is aware that inadequate educational aids are a constraint on effective learning for these young children in Jamaica, and thus, donating these resource materials is indeed necessary at this time.
EHF continues to support projects and initiatives like these, and is committed to fulfilling its mission of “enhancing the quality of people’s lives.”
