EHF Helps to Rehabilitate the Kingsway High School Science Labs
Located north of Cross Roads, Kingston is a high school serving over 400 students. Although the facilities look fairly clean and attractive on the outside, there exists a great deal of structural needs on the inside. EHF was approached for assistance toward refurbishing the school’s science labs, and, given our ongoing support for science & technology, EHF was willing to provide the necessary support. Moreover, without these repairs, the school stands a great risk of losing it accreditation in offering science as a subject.
With financial support from EHF as well as the Kingsway High School Alumni, the school commenced the needed repairs in August 2012, which are expected to be completed in 2013.
This initiative aligns with the EHF’s strategic goal #6: Support for Science & Technology and associated research and development activities.
